Lisa Sanford Howard, OD
Dr. Howard received her Doctorate in Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana. She earned her undergraduate degree in science at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. Dr. Howard is originally from Claiborne County, Tennessee. She has been in private practice in Middlesboro, KY since 1986. She is married to J. D. and they have one son, Lucas. Dr. Howard was recently awarded the Kentucky Optometrist of the Year by the Kentucky Optometric Association in 2003. She was also awarded Alumunus of the Year by Lincoln Memorial University in 2000. She is Past President of the Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners and is currently serving as President Elect of the Kentucky Optometric Association.

Danny Griffin, Ophthalmic Dispenser
Danny has been in the eyecare field for over 20 years. His primary duties are to assist the patients in lens and frame selections. He also edges and finishes lenses and is able to deliver most single vision jobs in about an hour.

Angella Jones, Optometric Technician
Angella began working for Dr. Howard in 1999. Her primary duties include pre-testing, specialized glaucoma testing, and contact lens dispensing.

Sue Richards Meadows, Receptionist
Sue has worked with the public for over 30 years. Her primary responsibility is scheduling and answering the phone. She also greets patients upon their arrival.

Katie Darnell, Third Party Coordinator
Katie is the newest member of Southeast Eye Associates and her primary responsibility is managing insurances. She determines benefits for patients, is responsible for collecting money, and also bills all third parties.

Andrea Schneider, Optometric Assistant
Andrea works part-time as she finishes her degree at LMU. Her duties include prestesting, frame selections, and eyeglass repair.
